COS is also a leading Web site for scientists and scholars to find funding, to promote their research and collaborate with peers worldwide. Though the name refers to holdings on science funding, this service also offers a wealth of information on social sciences, humanities & community outreach funding. COS issues weekly e-mail alerts of funding opportunities that fit criteria you specify. To use this service, you will need to create your expertise profile utilizing your ucdavis.edu affiliate email address. .
