Center for Biophotonics Science and Technology
- High Resolution Imaging
- Veeco/Digital Instruments Bioscope II atomic force microscopy system that can be combined with all optical microscope at CBST; supported by an Olympus IX71 miscroscope frame
- Deconvolution fluorescence microscope equipped for DAPI/FITC/Rhodamine/Alexa647 fluorescence imaging
- Structure illumination fluurescence microscope (OMX v2.0, Applied Precision, LLC, Issaquah, WA)
- Nonlinear Optics
- Coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microscopy system which can operate in either point0scan and/or spectroscopy mode
- Fluorescence and Microscopy
- Widefield/total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF) microscopy system consisting of an iMic live cell fluorescence microscope (TILL Photonics, Munich, Germany), which is fully computer controlled by a JAVA-based application software to perform complex acquisition protocols
- Real-tme, live-cell confocal fluorescence microscope consisting of an Olympus IX71 microscope frame with a CSU10 spinning disk unit spinning at 1800 rpm (Yokogawa, Japan), to which a motorized filter wheel (Ludl Electronics) and an iXon electron-multiplying back-illuminated CCD camera (Andor Technology, Inc, Ireland) are attached
