Course objectives include:

Understanding aseptic techniques.
Preparing the patient, surgeon, and surgery area.
Identifying proper PPE.
Understanding proper sterilization techniques for instruments and re-use.
Understanding patient monitoring and post-op care.
Understanding proper anesthesia and analgesia use.
