The IRB has developed the following videos on a variety of IRBNet topics that give step-by-step instructions from a UC Davis researcher point of view. Each video contains UC Davis specific instructions that guide you through different aspects of the IRBNet submission process and system.

How Do I Respond To An IRB Analyst For Revisions To My Package?

This video explains what to do if your package has been submitted and you have received an email message from the IRB that edits or clarification are required. It covers the following topics: identifying a package that has been unlocked, using project mail to communicate with the IRB, updating study documents, editing the Initial Review Application, and how to lock the package to notify the IRB that the package is now ready for review.
Please note this is not the process to submit a Response to a Letter of Action, Modification, Continuing Review, Reportable New Information, or Study Closure.

This brief video walks you through the process of how to make edits to the online Initial Review Application after it has already been reviewed by the IRB. Use this process when making updates to items captured in the Initial Review Application, such as the Research Personnel List. Please note that when making modifications to this online document you will not be able to submit a tracked changes version, so when completing your Modification Form for this submission you must specifically state which page of the online document has been updated and which details have been changed.
