Dr. Meg Sparling, the Research Funding Manager, promotes and analyzes funding opportunities and trends relevant to the UC Davis research community. She manages tools and resources that connect researchers with funding opportunities and news, and facilitates the strategic connection of significant funding opps with individuals and teams. Meg also manages the Limited Submissions program: the internal selection process for extramural funding opportunities that impose an institutional limit on number of applications.
