Join us Friday, October 13th at 10:30am for the first Team Research Forum of the Fall quarter to learn about all the different streams of funding available for your research and the resources available to you on campus.

We will hear from research funding experts from Office of Research, Foundation Engagement and Corporate Engagement.

Meg promotes and analyzes funding opportunities and trends relevant to the UC Davis research community. She manages tools and resources that connect researchers with funding opportunities and news, and facilitates the strategic connection of significant funding opps with individuals and teams. Meg also manages the Limited Submissions program: the internal selection process for extramural funding opportunities that impose an institutional limit on number of applications.

Traci started her position at UC Davis in 2015. In addition to managing a team of two, she focuses on working with faculty in the basic and biomedical sciences (Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Veterinary Medicine) to identify and pursue funding opportunities from non-governmental entities as well as building relationships with these foundations.

Building upon her academic training in the life sciences, Jamie is the senior director of corporate engagement within Development and Alumni Relations, working broadly to support industry partnerships at UC Davis. Often the first point of contact with companies wanting to engage with campus, she works to understand the needs of companies and match them with the university’s authentic strengths.
