One of the most critical phases of the research lifecycle happens at the beginning, when a project or program is being defined. The strategic alignment of ideas, strengths and resources targeting an important unmet need should be foundational in the approach.

The Office of Research offers dedicated support focused on enabling competitive individual and team research that succeeds in attracting funding, conducting groundbreaking research and delivering societal impact.

To achieve this, we will promote cross-disciplinary research initiatives across and beyond the University, enable access to state-of-the art technologies, instruments, and expertise, offer extensive services and resources to assist in the submission of extramural funding proposals, and build University capacity to assemble competitive research teams.
