Strategic Initiatives and Research Funding

The Strategic Initiatives and Research Funding (SIRF) team focuses on the pre-pre-award stage of research development, often prior to funding opportunity announcement. Our goal is to mobilize and facilitate collaboration across disciplines by creating structures and programming, and providing capacity-building services which align with critical mass areas of interest and innovation as well as sharing new opportunities. We work to be responsive to the needs of the campus research community, using feedback and intelligence to inform the programs we launch.
