September 9: BioMADE at UC Davis
UC Davis faculty and researchers are invited to join us for a BioMADE webinar on September 9, from 9:00–11:00 am, focused on opportunities to engage with BioMADE and strengthen the biomanufacturing community at UC Davis. As a founding governing member of BioMADE, UC Davis is well positioned to contribute its broad expertise across biotechnology, engineering, agriculture, food, health, and sustainability to advance U.S. biomanufacturing. The webinar will begin with an overview from a BioMADE representative highlighting BioMADE’s programs, priorities, resources, and opportunities for faculty engagement. The second half of the session will be an interactive discussion featuring UC Davis faculty sharing their research capabilities, emerging areas of interest, and ideas for collaboration. The conversation will help identify connections across campus, opportunities to engage with BioMADE and its national network, and potential areas for new research partnerships and funding. Whether you are already working in biomanufacturing or interested in exploring how your research could contribute to this rapidly growing field, we encourage you to participate. Our goal is to grow a connected, interdisciplinary biomanufacturing community at UC Davis and position our faculty to take full advantage of emerging BioMADE opportunities.
