Training Opportunities
The following training resources are available through the UC Davis Learning Management System (LMS). If you are a student or visiting scholar, you must request access to the LMS before you can complete your training. Please email [email protected] to request access to the system.
In keeping with the reduction principle of the 3Rs of research the IACUC office only provides live animal training for skills needed for use in studies under an approved IACUC protocol. Prior to enrolling in an in person handling course please be sure your PI has added you to their active IACUC approved protocol.
Additional training for experienced handlers and hands on training in species (i.e. rats, rabbits, hamsters, etc.) and techniques not listed below can be arranged by signing in with your UC Davis email address and submitting a Training Request form .
