Mouse Handling Video and Quiz

**PLEASE NOTE: The Learning Management Systen (LMS), where trainings are housed, is set up for employees. Please email [email protected] to request access to the system.This 45 minute course covers practical handling, restraint, gavage, injection, and blood collection techniques commonly used with laboratory mice. Participants are encouraged to be familiar with the IACUC protocol they will be working under. Course objectives include:

  • Identifying proper handling techniques for the mouse.
  • Understanding proper laboratory behavior while handling mice.
  • Identifying the proper PPE that should be worn while working with mice.
