Administer User Rights

Assign User Rights Directly (without booking a training)

    1. From HOME >> Select RIGHTS tab
    2. Under “Create/change/revoke super users, novice users, autonomous users,”
      – Select System
      – Select User
      – Select Rights Level

      i. Novice: must be assisted by a staff member when using the instrument
      ii. Autonomous: can use the instrument unassisted by a staff member
      iii. Super User: can use and make changes to the instrument the same as a Core Admin

      3. Select Create

 

Change or Deactivate User Rights

  1. From HOME >> Select RIGHTS tab
  2. Under “View rights, filter by,”
    • Select System
    • Click Go
      • OR
    • Select a user
    • Click Go
  3. From the list under User rights, find your user.
    • Select Convert to – to change their right status
      • OR
    • Select Deactivate to remove user rights for the instrument(s)
