UC Davis Rodent Survival Surgery

Course objectives include:
- Understanding aseptic techniques.
- Preparing the patient, surgeon, and surgery area.
- Identifying proper PPE.
- Understanding proper sterilization techniques for instruments and re-use.
- Understanding patient monitoring and post-op care.
- Understanding proper anesthesia and analgesia use.
